Brian Murphy is a photographer and Culinary Arts Instructor, born and raised in sunny San Diego.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my site! I am a San Diego Native that has rolled with what life has offered. From studying Architecture to working in Corporate Accounting, and from the restaurant industry to the classroom. Teaching Culinary Arts at the High School level in San Diego has opened my eyes and given me more purpose. The food system is broken, and we can all do better. Look for blog posts and suggestions on how to #Resist inferior food and convenience, and allow yourself to get back in the kitchen (or simply demand better when dining out) and treat food, and your body, they way it should be treated. Balance in the diet is key, and knowledge about food is power.

I purchased a DSLR when I needed to take photos of my food when I was involved with a San Diego restaurant, and I fell in love with the process. Years later, and professional equipment in hand, I'm ready to help you tell a story, sell a product, or create art. I'm a bit of a chameleon when it comes to photography - versatile. I let the scene, subject, or client dictate the style in which to edit. Rather than building preset filters, I take my time with each shot and make sure the DETAILS of craftsmanship, thought, or careful planning come through in my work.

I can accommodate anything from requests for prints to helping you build a library of work to promote your page, brand, etc.
